CBT & EMDR Psychotherapy in East London and remotely.
Building an inclusive,
healthy & supportive space.
Distress can often feel lonely and isolating, whether it is sadness, anxiety, anger or shame, the experience can make one feel like it is a personal failing. The social media can exacerbate this, making one feel like they are alone in the suffering. But this is not the case, anxiety and depression are common, 1 in 5 people experiencing it.
Sometimes our life circumstances create a cumulative load of stress which tip us into emotional suffering. Getting support, someone to talk to, learning proven techniques to improve wellbeing can be daunting.
I have been successful in helping people to access the right support, whether that is with me, your local NHS services or another provider.

How we do this

Life Coaching
Coaching enables us to identify our values and goals and to work systematically towards the goals. Life is like houses, if we want to build a house, we have to plan way in future.

Yoga
This ancient art, which has been lovingly and carefully passed from teacher to student for over two thousand years is finding a new revival as science provides evidence of its effectiveness.

Mindfulness
Jon Kabat-Zinn defines mindfulness as “paying attention to the present moment in a particular way”; non-judging, patience, beginner’s mind, trust, non-striving, acceptance and letting go.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
CBT is an effective, evidence based therapy that is widely used for a wide range of conditions ranging from depression and anxiety to building self-esteem, substance use and psychosis.
